Little Lighthouse Studio

Visual Art – Sydney

Hi there, my name is Bayu Sadewo. Best way to describe me? Well, in the past I was an architecture student. Nowadays I work as a graphic designer on weekdays, and on weekends I escape the city environment to roam the mountain and the ocean, equipped with my rock climbing gear, my surfboard, my lucky camera and my sketchbook. The truth is, every adventure I chase is to fulfill my true passion: to capture and re-imagine stories through illustrations. 6 months ago, Little Lighthouse Art & Design was born and I am here to capture the little stories that happen in our everyday lives which often pass unnoticed. These stories can be as simple as a friend who brought you a cake when midnight struck on the dawn of your birthday, or as epic as popping a bottle of champagne after reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro with your partner. Years of experience has enabled me to develop a unique visual style and theme through which the stories I witness are told. They revolve around the little moments in life and inspired by ordinary miracles we see everyday. Through Little Lighthouse, I would like to keep capturing people's everyday stories. I want to highlight all the good bits in life, acknowledge and learn from the sad bits and continue to inspire through my visual art and design. We don’t need superpowers to make good changes, so I’d like to do what I can through my work. Little Lighthouse’s mission, as it continues to grow tall like an old tree, is to make good impact to those in need.
