Performing Art – Pittsburgh

Lexi Lombardi is a 2017 graduate of Ohio University where she received her Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. After training for fifteen years at Triplett Dance Academy she is disciplined in styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, tap, pointe, African, and musical theater. She has worked with distinguished artists such as Travis Gatling, Jesse Keller, Christy McNeil-Chand, Kaitlin Webster, LaCeda Nelson, Lara Branen, Doug Nielson, and original Alwin Nikolis dancer Gladys Bailin-Stern. In 2015 Lombardi's choreography, This Is Where We Are, was featured in the Ohio Dance Festival. She spent 2015-2017 as the Level II Jazz Dance Instructor and Introduction to Ballet Dance Instructor for the Division of Dance at Ohio University. At the Ashland Youth Ballet in Kentucky, she did a residency where she choreographed a modern production piece for over 40 dancers. Currently as a dancer she is in Interweave Dance Theater located in Boulder, Colorado. As a teacher, she is on the faculty at the JCC of Greater Pittsburgh as the highest level jazz instructor. She spent the 2018 competition season judging for the National Dance Competition Ticket To Broadway. Lexi Lombardi is the recipient of the Broadway Dance Center Scholarship, Fine Arts Talent Scholarship and the J. Langdon Taylor Endowment.
