Photography – Brisbane
My name is Lera, I am an Australian based photographer. I have been a photographer for many years throughout my school and university studies. Since I started studying photography at Tafe Queensland, I have experimented with many different genres and techniques, allowing me to discover my own style. You won't see bright colours in my photographs, but each image is brimming with emotion and drama. I believe that photography should always be, in some way meaningful. My passion is to capture portraits of different people around the world and tell their life story. Most of my works have a low key, or black and white style. It feels mysterious and encourages people to think more deeply. Following my graduation from Tafe Queensland, I was nominated by the Australian Photography Magazine (People and Portrait nomination) as one of 20 finalists for ‘Photographer of the year 2017’. My dream is to travel around the world and photograph talented musicians and artists.
