Lena and Ruby, two peas in a pod we are grannies trapped in 20 somethin' bodies. We have combined forces in our respective craft practices of ceramics and crochet on an endeavour to create beautiful, natural, handmade pieces for functional purposes. Inspired by the raw simplicity and beauty of Clay and Fibre, we source our materials carefully, conscious of what we take from the environment. It is our aim with this project to make loved pieces that have a known history and story that can be passed on throughout its lifetime. Everything we make has the handmade quirk of individuality, each of our little babies is unique in its own special way.
