Visual Art – Seattle
Ever since I could pick up a crayon, I’ve been drawing. In kindergarten, when the other kids were still drawing stick figures, I was drawing people with round bodies and fingers. From there I began to design characters and objects for the stories I created using my imagination. As I got older, my imagination grew with me as well as the collection of images I gathered from different experiences while traveling abroad and everyday life. Through my travels, which countries include Romania, France, Denmark, I’ve been able to incorporate ideas from their cultures and my surroundings into my art and design.
Since 2008, I have been painting and embroidering my canvases to explore texture and how light passes on the different surfaces. In 2013, I participated in my first professional art show, \"Around the Square\", and won the Popular Vote Award. Since then, I\'ve been painting and embroidering all while looking forward to my next art show.
