Laura Pawson is a working artist from Brooklyn, NY. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her Masters of Science in Education from Long Island University. She is currently a Visual Arts High School teacher in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Pawson uses a variety of materials to explore concepts of racial identity and the breaking of societal boundaries.
