Performing Art – Boston

I am a Boston-based contemporary dance performer, choreographer, educator, and administrator. I have been performing with KAIROS Dance Theater since 2012, during which time I have served as soloist, principal dancer, and rehearsal director. I have also been fortunate enough to make guest appearances in the works of many other Boston choreographers, including Chavi Bansal and Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion. I am also currently dancing with Brian Feigenbaum. I am a deeply passionate dance educator, and have been teaching dance with great joy in a variety of settings since 2013. I am currently on faculty at Koltun Ballet Boston, Wilmington Dance Academy, and Miss Maria's School of Dance. In my own choreography, I am interested in the intersection of softness and strength: the point at which delicacy and fragility meet a stubborn refusal to break. How am I simultaneously so obstinately indestructible and so emotionally and physically vulnerable? I believe there is beauty in subtlety. I believe there is value in both refined and raw expression. I believe there is something to be said for being enigmatic. I strive to uphold these beliefs throughout any and all creative endeavors of which I am fortunate enough to be a part, but especially in those I choose to generate.
