I am a self taught designer who loves working with ethnic/global prints like African Batik, Indian Saris, Chinese Shantung and mix them up with plain western fabrics like clean linen, cotton, lace, satin, silk, taffeta etc. I grew up sewing outfits for my dolls using old clothes or flour sack fabric.
