Fashion – Boston

Since she was a young girl, Kinda Touma, knew that she would one day be a fashion designer and have her own line going. Her first sketches shows her creativity and talent. ​ She studied architecture in her home town Aleppo, but fashion was always there inside of her, after she graduate from the architecture University of Aleppo, and fueled by her passion for the arts, she flew to Boston and studied at The the School of Fashion Design. Upon graduating from SFD Kinda had the opportunity to intern for local famous designers.​ ​ ​​​​​​​​​​​Kinda loves to participate in every competition and she loves to contribute her designs for charity and good causes.​​​​​ ​ Kinda was one of the finalist for the Tchaikovsky competition at the BSO, also she was mentioned in the Boston globe for her creation.​​​​ ​ Recently her background design won the East meet West competition at the International Fashion Academy of Paris.  Her designs are chic, elegant, strong, edgy, and always feminine, and her style of combining sharp tailoring with elegant and sexy femininity was immediately apparent in her first collection and had a great response from the customers.​ ​ ​​​​​in 2011 she started doing custom dresses for proms, in 2012 she launched her first ready to wear collection, and got great response.​ ​ Kinda\'s inspiration always comes from inside, she\'s always on track with the media and the fashion weeks locally and internationally, in her opinion it\'s important to be always up to date.​​​​  Her favorite designers are Valentino, Dior, Armani, Alexandre McQueen, Versace, Elie Saab.
