I am a visual artist / designer who strives to accurately communicate ideas and emotions that tell my story. Life has a funny way of throwing such vastly different occurrences your way, leaving it up to you to make the connections between them. I’m always attempting to make those connections through the means of writing, collage, digital art, motion graphics and design.
My creative vision is really driven by the desire to make sense of things, and to overcome.
Lately I have been attempting to refine my art by playing with the combination of writing, design, and collage. I feel this intersection is where the soul of my work is located, and I’d like to continue in that direction.
I’ve been creating for the sake of introspection since early middle school (around that time in every child’s life where things start to get really different). What began as doodles and poems changed to prints, posters and publications by the time I graduated from the University of Connecticut with my BFA in Graphic Design.
Design and visual art became my power to give form to my ideas & epiphanies and share them with the world.
