I love the fact that when I am creating something it is all I am thinking about. It’s my way of disconnecting from society and connecting with the world. For me, being an artist is calming and so rewarding. I'm not in it for sales, just for the fun of creation, and seeing the excitement in someone else’s eyes when they take a piece off my hands. The ability to actually surprise myself occasionally is something I live for.
