Katelynn Tomney

My name is Katelynn Tomney and I am a singer-songwriter from New York, NY. I started off playing solo; singing and playing guitar and piano. Now I can often be found playing with a full band consisting of bass, guitar, drums, and me crooning on vocals. I have play at a variety of places in and around New York City, and recently moved to Chicago. I can usually be found at Elbo room, uncommon ground, and the gallery cabaret.  My biggest musical influences for writing songs come from soul music, r+b, jazz, blues, and singer/songwriter types. Anybody with a deep emotional voice that speaks to me in some way. My number one favorite artist of all time is Jeff Buckley. I am currently rehearsing and recording my first full length album following my previous two eps.
