Jennifer Wilkins

Performing Art – Salt Lake City

Jennifer Wilkins is a mother of 2 and a Studio owner as well as an Instructor, fitness program developer, fitness author, and aerial arts performer. She opened her first studio at the age of 19 and never looked back. She attended college for a year and a half but decided the school of hard knox was a better way to learn. She struggled to find the perfect nitch for an industry that had an enormous stigma attached to it. Jennifer was amongst the pole pioneers of Utah. The Utah culture is a hard market. Jennifer began to develop the JW Method pole fitness program to bring a more progressive and functional cross training method for pole dancers. Unfortunately pole dancers love the flips more than the cross training. After writing several articles in an international pole magazine called Pole2Pole and hosting a seminar and performance at the Pole Expo in Las Vegas and still not seeing a place for her in the pole industry she ventured out to seek the professional dance industry. She is working with some of the most incredibly talented coaches and kids at an elite dance training facility for competitive dance. She has developed flexibility program that is changing the way they dance. JW Method is currently in the process of being registered at the University of Utah for physical therapy. Jennifer loves performing to share her talent and has left the competition world to bring her world and main stream together to spread magic.
