Photography – Kansas City
As a native of Kansas City, and with the desire to promote its relevance, I have focused my photography on what inspires me most - music. In my body of work, my goal is to explore Kansas City's rich and ever-expanding music scene of both local and visiting artists. Like photography, music provides a universal language, one that if captured with passion - translates passion. Every time I compose an image, my hope is that what can be seen, can somehow also be heard. I have only the first three songs, and a fraction of a second, to capture the integrity of these musicians and the inspiration they instill within their fans.
