Jimmy Gersen

I graduated from the University of Washington School of Art, 1993. In 1995, I started to display my work in restaurants and coffee shops. From 2000-2004 performed live with local rock band, \" DEFECT \", in various music venues through out the Seattle-Tacoma areas. After the bands break up in 2004, I took a five year hiatus from painting and performing live to pursue other artistic endeavors. My return to performing and painting came in 2009, for the West Seattle Art Walk, where I\'ve become a regular at performing, and showing in area hot spots. Currently, I\'m represented by Alki Arts Gallery at the base of the Harbor Steps while also doing private performances, and fundraiser work for local charities.
