Visual Art – Boston

Hey, I\'m Jenn. I am a 23-year-old artist and lover of books. You can usually find me at a local coffee shop, with a novel in hand and a sketchbook on the table. Some of my favorite things include: spending time with my family, wrestling in the grass with my family’s Bernese Mountain Dog, Claire de Loon(picture big, goofy, fluffy and always smiling!); autumn in Massachusetts, where I’m originally from; and most recently, strolls under the moss-covered live oak trees in Savannah, Georgia, where I now live. I earned my undergraduate degree in illustration at Mass College of Art and Design and am now working towards a graduate degree at Savannah College of Art. Before I started my masters program, I worked as an elementary school visual arts and woodworking teacher through The Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts in Jamaica Plain, MA. The raw and joyous excitement that my students found when creating has reinvigorated my own love for art and learning, and has played a major role in my decision to pursue a graduate degree and to push myself to become a better artist.
