Photography – Sydney
A dedicated and avid astrophotgrapher and nightscaper, Jay has been involved in photography since his teens, and has spent the past 6 years adjusting his eyes to the darkness amongst some of Australia and New Zealand's most stunning landscapes to capture the night sky and the galaxy. Jay is also passionate about photographing landscape, seascape, sunrises and sunsets and of course iconic hometown Sydney.
Jaydidphoto also runs Astrophotography workshops at some sublime locations such as the epic coastline of Narooma, the natural landscape and iconic geological formations of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, the rural farmlands with their colourful crops around Quirindi, and the coastline and mountains encompassing Sydney.
"Providing other photographers the chance to visit some of the most incredible scenery in Australia and learn how to capture the night sky, allows me to be a tour guide and educator, with a passion for our natural environment and ecological sustainability, I have the opportunity to teach this passion to my clients so we can all use our imagery to educate others about the need to sustain our environment for generations to come."
