Jane Finley

Jane Finley is an emerging Calgary based mixed media artist, best known for her use of materials in unconventional methods. Her focus is primarily in exploring and expanding the boundaries of acrylic abstract painting. Using mediums in innovative ways, she combines fibre arts, installation work, and acrylic painting to shape her practise. Finley’s work is abundant with texture and sculptural aspects. As an emerging artist, Finley is building her own authentic path in the art world. She is currently pursuing her BFA in painting at the Alberta Collage of Art and Design. Finley is active in the local arts community, participating in exhibitions throughout Calgary, leading workshops, and volunteering.
