Visual Art – Sydney

JAH, also known as Judith Harvey is an award winning, emerging Sydney-based artist. Presently, Harvey is completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at the University of New South Wales, Art & Design. JAH is known for her post mediumistic conceptually driven practice and its pertinence to the interplay of music, art and sound; Which in succession calls for a highly contemporary approach to serigraph printmaking. In turn this highlights JAH from other avant-garde printmakers, and sound artists. Harvey recently received the 2018 New South Wales, Royal Agricultural Society Medallion for Excellence in Printmaking, in addition to receiving first place in the printmaking class in the Arts and Crafts section of the Royal Easter Show. Notably, JAH has exhibited within Australia and internationally. In 2017, JAH was chosen to exhibit in The 4th Xi’an International Printmaking Workshop, Student Exhibition located in the East Gallery of the Xian Academy of Fine Art, in Xi’an China. Most recently she exhibited alongside an all female identifying print collective at AD Space, UNSW Art & Design. JAH is additionally an active member of the print collective known as WAS Printed, supported by the Waverley Art School community.
