Accessories – Melbourne
I am a self taught surface pattern designer. I am always thinking about patterns, and am particularly drawn to applying patterns onto fabric and clothing. Most of my patterns are created from original line drawings and doodles, which are then digitally printed. I am also a self taught sewer, and design and sew my own clothing with my fabric prints. Having been an avid op shopper for many years has recently also led to a desire to upcycle clothing, and recreate new from old, especially focusing on men's shirts and blending my own work in. Making paper jewellery has also become a great love. The transformation of something as fragile as paper into a light yet strong and durable fashion accessory is always intriguing and amazing. I love pattern, fashion and paper!
