Visual Art – San Francisco

I have created, drawn, painted my whole life, useing mostly acrylics and large-scale canvas or pencil and paper. After going a year without any creating (my excuse was ongoing house construction), my need to create became unescapable. I got out my mom's old (15-20 years?) watercolor palate and began to experiment for the first time with watercolors. I challenged myself to paint everyday. Watercolor is different to me in every way. At first it was difficult to control and hard to not overwork. But it has become my favorite medium, inviting emotion into my paintings that I have always sought out but never before found.
