Visual Art – Gold Coast

After years of working to live, a number of challenges arose and I was forced to re-evaluate my life. Art gives me an expressway for my emotions and I found help through many things including Art Therapy. To escape, reflect, feel joy and hope, dream and imagine, when it’s difficult to convey into words creating art enables communication, to share with others fills me with extreme gratitude. I rediscovered art and rediscovered myself. Life is meant to be lived, and I want to help others to inspire them to find their creativity within. After learning to manage and live with mental illness I was encouraged to accept and exhibit at my first Showcased at RAW Gold Coast Artists Exhibition in October 2017 and I’m so grateful I didn’t let my anxiety and overwhelm stop me. I’m studying with the Health and Harmony Colledge for my Art Therapist Diploma as My goal is to one day create a safe place for people with mental illness to attend Art Therapy workshops
