Visual Art – Nashville
Hannah Vaughn was born in Orchard Park, New York and came to Nashville in 2014 to pursue her Bachelor’s of Art in Spanish and French at Lipscomb University where she graduated in December 2017. Her journey as an artist began when she was young, experimenting with drawing and painting. In high school, she added ceramics and mixed media to her portfolio. She currently works in photography, painting, typography, and mixed media collage.
Her most recent collection — entitled The Face of Mental Health — was exhibited in May 2018 and is the byproduct of her own experiences with mental health, both personal and through others, in which she asks viewers to look at their own mental health as well as their views and opinions regarding the stigmas that surround it.
