Gillian Lambert

I live and work in Austin, TX, but I was born and raised in Maine. I\'ve always loved and created art of all kinds, but now I work primarily with pencils and paper. Most of my work is portraiture and self-portraiture; I think we can learn a lot about ourselves and human nature through how we manipulate, fragment, and conceal a human subject.
