Visual Art – Minneapolis
Born with the name Madeline, raised by a single mother in North Minneapolis, mixed with Irish, German, and Nigerian blood, and a crown of curls that I couldn't love more. With 25 years under my belt, my life has taken me to many places like South Africa, Kenya, and Guatemala, but I most recently lived in Brooklyn, NY where my love of art and my passion to paint was sparked. Ever since I was young, I knew I would want to work for the greater good of others. When I graduated college, I became a youth worker. I pursued that line of work by landing a position with the YMCA as a Life Coach for young ladies. I am most happy when I travel, host friends and family in my home, when people laugh at my corny jokes, reading, trying new things, and of course, painting.
