Increasing forward motion FLUXmomentum, directed by Ashley Anderson, is an urban and hiphop based dance company located in Norwalk, CT. Consisting of eight members, FM bases it’s mission on bringing story telling, real emotion, and positivity through movement. Ashley has been a teacher for over 10 years, and has trained vigorously throughout New York and Los Angeles as a commercial dancer. After being signed to MSA talent agency a 16, she went on to be in music videos, TV performances, and live shows, as well as training under some of the most highly respected choreographers in the industry. After a car accident that left her without the capability to dance for two and a half years, she learned that it was the journey that far exceeded the destination she had been trying to reach. Ashley decided to bring together the most authentic and passionate movers in her area. FM members are not only performers, but also dedicated teachers who are passionate on bettering the dance community around them, in hopes of bringing joy, strength and confidence to others.
