Performing Art – Providence
Farah Figuereo is an Afro-Latina artist from Providence, Rhode Island. She is a dancer, choreographer, and spoken word artist, and photographer that seizes to exemplify strong personal conviction, female empowerment, and strong self preservation in her work. She loves creating concepts that help to cause a visceral reaction for the viewer by implementing powerful yet meaningful topics that are relatable in today's society. Farah has performed, taught, been a director for an all-styles dance crew "Alpha One", "Iconic Dance Group" a curator for artistic events, and continues to be involved in the community to this day.
