Sara Starr

My name is Sara Starr Beranek. I am a 19 year old talented musician from Pawtucket, RI. I have been singing since i was 8 and i love doing it. I love music and art and I feel lots of things are done with music and art. I express myself through both and i couldn't live my life without either. My mom bought me my first piano when i was 10. I was taught to play different instruments in school including flute, trumpet, and piano but i have only been playing the piano since then. I love writing my own music and lyrics. I like to write and sing about things i know best as in break-up, make-up, love, hurt, good days, bad days, slow songs, dance songs, God, people, having a good time, or getting kicked around. I feel Pink, Christinia Augilera, and Jessie J are my idols and my inspiration. I love all types of music except for the jazz and swing band stuff. I feel I would be in the R&B category as far as a style I perform in. The things i really love most about what i do is the people, the huge stages and the comfort of know I'm doing something and I'm doing it well. I would love to be a singer/songwriter for the rest of my life. Right now im struggling with my life but one day ill be huge! Thank you
