Jenny Crawford

When I was in second grade, I drew a cartoon of Snoopy and it was published in our local newspaper winning first prize. I took painting classes throughout my childhood and was constantly encouraged by my parents to further nurture my artistic talents. I took many art classes in high school and to my surprise won awards in watercolor and drawing. My college years I took more drawing and painting classes and did very well. I was accepted into the Graphic Design program and received a BFA in graphic design and drawing/painting. I have been a graphic designer for 20 plus years and currently I am a stylist/interior designer for a major retail furniture company. I love my job and I love being creative in all forms. I missed my true love of painting though...my daughter asked me to paint and design a pair of boots for her. They were a success! I received many compliments and her boots got lots of attention. So needless to say, I am indulging my love of painting on my new fashionable medium of boots, bags and jackets. I love being creative and coming up with beautiful unique designs for my boots, bags and any other form of fashion I can take a paintbrush to.
