Elena Raileanu

Elena is a ballroom dancer and print model. Inspired by the beauty of body movement she only creates in grayscale to emphasize the art of simplicity in the puzzle of complexity. The mediums she uses are gypsum and acrylic. She is using a sculptural technique called Relief, where the sculpted elements remain attached to a solid background. The series with the same name Relief are meant to express relaxation following release from distress.
