Visual Art – New York - NYC

With a Chinese mother and diplomatic Icelandic father, Eirdis has lived in Reykjavík, Beijing, Tokyo, and is currently situated in New York. Eirdis''s work challenges the concept of femininity. She compares and places the material perception of "femininity" next to the growing commodification of food. Her work highlights the consequences of the misconception of femininity which may lead to a dispersed sense of self, disjointed between the external and internal representation.
