Visual Art – Baltimore

I'm a self-taught artist born in Plainfield, New Jersey and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia. My artistry developed while in middle school trying to mimic my older brother's graffiti sketches. The more I sketched the more I fell in love with creating art. By the time I entered high school, my focus switched to playing sports and art was pushed to the backburner. Art became a hobby, a dream not feasible or conventional. While in college, I did small sketches for friends on campus, but I had no true desire to create full-time. Fast forward to 2017: I picked up a paintbrush and created my first piece. I found my niche in the art world painting, something I could not discover sketching with a pencil or sharpie. My pieces consists of acrylic paints, spray paint, and oil based paint markers. As I grow as an artist, I do intend to explore other mediums as well as different surfaces. I believe it is important to share my work publicly to restore appreciation for fine arts and encourage youth to pursue their passions no matter how unconventional the career path.
