I am awed and inspired by nature and I love to use raw elements to create beautiful and one of a kind jewelry pieces. With degrees in biology and physiology, I came to metalsmithing later in life, after raising my daughter, and eager to try something new and creative. Opportunities presented themselves, and I followed my instincts! Over several years I learned traditional fabrication techniques, such as heating, fusing, soldering, hammering, and sawing, of various metals. I enjoy mixing metals, such as silver, gold, copper, and bronze, often incorporating stones and semi-precious gemstones, into simple, but elegant pieces with an edge. I continue to learn every day. To be able to create with nature's elements is a real gift, and each handcrafted piece is an extension of myself that I can share with others.
