Fashion – Raleigh

Designer. Illustrator. Stylist. These are just a few ways to describe eclectic fashion designer and artist Dani Gosha. Raised in Misawa, Japan; as a child she relocated to the United States. At a young age she developed a fondness for all things culture and art. With an initial attraction to paper and pencil she moved back to the US bringing over an interest in art and video games. Primarily self-taught and with the help of her parents who bought her sewing machines, sergers and body forms, she decided to pursue a BS in Consumer, Apparel and Retail studies with a concentration in apparel design just after receiving her AA. Known for her immense use of details and polished looks she was easily recognized as the couture designer among her peers. Never one to follow the pack, she is always experimenting with techniques and fabrics which can be seen throughout her collections and independent design work that has earned her a variety of awards and press features. With growing public acknowledgement, she has begun to expand her reach through custom design work for clients all around the world that include England, Australia, Canada, United States and Mexico. While her occupation in fashion often puts her in front of the sewing machine, she also takes time away from design to style shoots and collaborate as a designer and model for other clothing brands.
