Dalton Burr

Performing Art – Chicago

Born and raised in rural Utah Dalton Burr knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a performer. Before college he had the prestigious opportunity to perform, vocally, with The Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus in a month long tour of Europe, and from there he hit the ground running. After attending Southern Utah University and obtaining his Bachelors of Science degree he moved to Chicago in 2012 and has been performing ever since. Dancing for companies such as: Elements Contemporary Ballet and Chicago Repertory Ballet he has spent the past 3 years training exclusively with Aerial Dance Chicago, a company that powerfully blends a variety of apparatus such as suspended fabrics, aerial hoop (lyra), rope harness, and swings so that dancers are no longer bound to the traditional dance floor, but are allowed expression within multi-dimensional space. As a member of ADC he has both performed and choreographed on a variety of apparatus and constantly pushes himself to blend the two very unique styles. In joining the RAW team Dalton is jumping feet first into freelance work and pushing the boundaries of traditional dance through choreography and Circus art.
