Leading a fulfilled life is about passion. Both having passion in what you do as well as eliciting it in others. I took an indirect path to find my passion for painting. My degree is in the biological sciences, my vocation for several years was in healthcare, but not until I fully devoted myself to my canvas did I find that spark that has fueled my work since. I’m fortunate for such a varied background as I’m constantly influenced by my experiences in those other fields to shape my understanding and impressions of the world around me. It is through my acrylics, oils and charcoals that I best render what the world says to me, and hopefully my work can speak that truth to others. The creative community in Nashville is all-consuming, and my drive has redoubled since arriving here. It is a truly thrilling experience that I hope comes through in my craft.
