I was born and raised in the Beautiful island of Jamaica. My love for art started in 1991 at the Bamboo All Age school in St. Ann Jamaica at the age of 10. I am a self-taught artist who uses the beauty of Jamaican culture, its beautiful landscapes and its people. The lifestyle and rich colors of Jamaica are the foundation of my work. I’ve also grown to utilize my surrounding area as inspiration anything that catches my eyes can spark my inspiration. My paintings usually start with an image on paper, then evolve into compositions in which Anything can be my primary subject matter. To me, art is an expression of my personal feelings, the subject or colors that inspire me and my materials and techniques. Sharing my love of art by using colors or whatever subject matter that inspires me to paint is my primary goal.
