Photography – San Diego
My name is Chad Allen Johnston and I was born and raised in San Diego. Because I grew up in San Diego, it's only natural that I spent most of my time outside - surfing, fishing, playing sports, skateboarding - exposing me to so many different areas of the city I have grown to love so much. I have always enjoyed doing creative things and as I got older, I became more and more drawn to photography. It's a feeling that's hard to put into words sometimes but there's a certain type of rush and excitement that comes from capturing the "perfect" photo and being able to tell a story through a single image about the person/family/place I am photographing. My wife, my daughter, and my family are extremely supportive of my dreams and aspirations in photography, and ultimately my passion and drive lies in the desire to take care of my family. They are the world to me! I am so happy every day to share a little piece of me and my life and who I am through photography and I am so grateful to everyone that has played a role in my creative journey.
