Photography – Miami
My name is Jessica and I am a self- taught photographer born in Havana, Cuba and currently based in Miami, Florida. My formal education took place at Florida International University where I received a B.S. in Biology and Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Psychology.
I first picked up a camera to simply document a research project, but it quickly flourished into a new form of self expression and a passion for capturing human emotion. Behind the lens I am liberated to depict the world as I see it and in turn share a part of myself.
