Photography – Omaha
An import from Aguascalientes, Mexico and a current graphic design / film studies / french student at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, I\'m a mixed bag of interests that likes to create beautiful things in the hopes of making a positive impact in contemporary visual culture and furthermore, the world around me.
I\'ve always been interested in how I can create things and ultimately my end goal is to be in the field of cinema in some way or another and create wonderful films, I\'m also really interested in how to involve film based elements in urban signs and environments.
My biggest project to date, and the one that currently has taken over my world, is one I affectionally call \"Fashion Monster\" which is an exploration of growth, personal struggles and monsters, reality and consciousness, dreams and relationships we form. It began during my second semester in college and has since gone on to involve photography as the principal medium alongside short film, dress design, drawing, audio, installation and painting.
I love to travel, watch movies, become almost too involved for my own good on my campus, write, take photographs of many things, drink obscene amounts of coffee and tea, shop, hug my dog Max who looks like acts like a gremlin, and, to no-ones surprise talk an insane amount about how much I love Paris, France.
