My name is Carolyn Davis and I am the proud owner of CandiStyles921 currently located at Mane Obsessionz, 4711 ½ , Harford Road in Baltimore, Maryland. I started my journey at a very young age around 14 years old. I used to do my family and friends hair in the basement of my mother’s house knowing one day this is what my career will be. As I matured, I decided to attend Cosmetology school after graduating from high school. In 2006, I graduated from Baltimore Studio of Hair Design located in downtown Baltimore. My very first job was a Shampoo Technician at Unique Touch Hair Studio under the supervision of Edward Canty.  After learning the techniques of shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling I felt confident enough to begin my career. I was introduced to Master Stylist Steven Daniels and he took me under his wing . I was his assistant for five years before I stepped behind the chair as my own boss.  I am attending continuing education classes which will allow me to become a better business owner and stylist. I have grown with experience and learned to push myself to the fullest potential under the support of Senior Cosmetologists Lashuan Noakes owner of Mane Obsessions Hair Salon. I have attended several hair shows in state and out of state. I have participated as a stylist for several professional picture shoots, as a wedding hair consultant, stylist for brides and their entire bridal parties. Not only do I style hair but on several occasions has used my skills as a make-up artist. I cannot imagine doing anything else! My desires are to make sure that I am well rounded in all techniques of hair texture and styles. I love working with natural, permed, and I also specialize in various techniques with sew in hair weaves and wig units.
