BARITONE, better known to his friends and family as B-TONE, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age thanks to family and friends planting seeds of faith within him. As a teen BARITONE’s inspiration to write came from his mother Oviter Beason and children’s choir director, Minister Marie Hughes. Both played in intrigural part in his works and still inspire him to this day. TONE is the only Spoken Word Artist in his family and he represents them well. BARITONE has been on the scene since 2006 as one of Houston\'s most recognized Spoken Word Artists. B-TONE’s voice is smooth, his message is clear, and his motives are pure. With countless years of writing, he has come into his own poetic voice and is not afraid to share his love for Jesus Christ. Having ministered to audiences of over 3,000 at events such as The Fountain of Praise Fall Revival, South Park Baptist Church Annual Good Friday Concert, and other major rallies. He was the winner of the 2011 Best of The Blessed Talent Competition held at Houston Baptist University by The Rejoice Network.
