Visual Art – Edmonton
Aynsley Nisbet is a self-taught, mostly abstract artist and musician from Edmonton, Alberta. Using a mix of both acrylics and oils, she paints with a unique style resembling that of \"cubism\". Originally being from Vancouver, and growing up in northern British Columbia, much of her inspiration still comes from the spirit of nature and the West Coast. Many of her paintings contain very spiritual and anthropomorphic images, exploring themes of shamanism, the connectivity to animals, universal energy and synesthetic concepts. She currently resides in Edmonton, spending most of her time doing custom artwork and hosting painting parties.
