Film – Washington, D.C.

The vision was a film company that didn\'t just make films, but showed others how to follow in its footsteps. When I (Arel) and my wife (Sheila) started our film company, we had this vision loosely in our minds, unaware how far it would take us. I (at age 21) started the company originally to marry and support Sheila (at age 18), as well as do what we were made to do: film. Our journey has been round about. Setting out to be a feature film company we knew we would need some money to get us going. So, we worked on promo videos our first year, while developing our scripts and our curriculum for training youth in film. We also did short films when we could to gain attention, but with little avail. So, the last thing we expected was that our greatest hit would be a promo video we had created to promote self-publishing a novel Sheila had written. When the novel had been written, Sheila and I took on the ambitious project of turning the extremely visual, fantasy thriller novel into a trailer. We had created an indiegogo campaign with the goal of attaining $10k for the project and in only 31 days we not only reached our goal, but surpassed it by $250. With the success of the coming book and the attention received from the trailer, we are looking at taking on another incredibly ambitious project: turning the story into a feature film.
