Amina Shaw-Moss

Amina Shaw-Moss is a 24-year-old Lesley University/Art Institute of Boston graduate, with an Art Therapy BS and a minor in Fine Arts and Psychology. Her work has been included in the July 2011“Ladies First” show at Hancock 309 Gallery, as well as the Symbiosis exhibit at the Lesley University’s Creative Commons\' gallery. Her work has been displayed at Cambridge City Hall in a group show. Amina has a strong passion for community outreach and she has been actively involved organizing and painting in community events, like Arts in The Park at Malcolm X Park. Her work has also been featured in an exhibit at the Strand Theater in Roxbury. In 2013 her work has been featured in the Toxic Hollywood exhibit at the Musikavanhu Arts Gallery. She has also had the opportunity to put together her first major ensemble exhibit titled “STORIES” featuring artist Adam Bullock. She has been accepted into Pratt institute as well as NYU, and will begin classes this fall.
