Visual Art – Sydney

I am a local 28 year old artist, born in Santiago, Chile. Growing up on the Gold Coast and now returning to where I started when I first moved to Australia with my family at the age of 2. My love for art started when I was a young bean sprout. My parents gave me a colouring book for my 3rd birthday and I haven't been able to stop since. Unable to focus at school, my parents found my textbooks covered in drawings, that is when both them and myself realized, that this was not just a passing phase. Art has always been my escape and where I feel most at peace. I love to paint and draw outside, surrounded by nature and an abundance of trees and wildlife. Even travelling abroad with my Fiance', I always found time to whip out the old sketch pad. Being around different cultures and landscapes fuelled that fire inside me more than ever. I first started focusing more on my art while I was working as a Vet Nurse at The Animal Welfare League on The Gold Coast, a place where I felt I could truly make a difference and be a voice for those without one. I started by doing commissions for fellow employees’ pets, and word got out quick and I was being flooded with requests. My genres involve a mix of realism, pop culture, surrealism and modern art. There is something beautiful about completely letting go, and letting your soul take you away. I feel very blessed that I am able to see the result of that in front of my very eyes. Nothing makes me happier than my art, and I love sharing how beautiful life can be with others. I love venturing out and exploring new styles and mixing different genres, its true what they say – Art has NO limits. My weapons of choice are colour pencil and graphite, ink, pastel, acrylic and oil paint. “Everything you can imagine is real.” - Pablo Picasso
