Visual Art – Los Angeles

I have always been drawn towards creative expression, even at a young age, and have always thrived at the challenge of rethinking something or reworking it into something new. So, in that way, I've been an artist my whole life. My story as an actual artist began when I decided to throw myself into the world of physical artistic expression as a way to somehow cope with the unexpected passing of my brother, who my family lost at the hands of mental illness earlier this year. My brother loved freely expressing his creativity and found painting to be the perfect outlet. After his passing, I wanted nothing more than to feel connected to him, so I decided to give painting a try. Before I knew it, my art began spilling out of me in all kinds of shapes, colors, and patterns, as I desperately tried to fill in the cracks of my broken heart with acrylic paint.
