Artist statement by Thomas Carroll My photography is experimental and existential. I am influenced by many schools of art, especially the kinetic energy of cinema. I play with shapes in space and time to see the unseen. By visualizing the surreal in the real and the subconscious in the conscious I discover ways of seeing the world. My photography incorporates elements of mystery, magic, beauty, allegory and more.
